Lex is sooooo full of sweetness and sometimes the things he says just melt my heart!
For the past several days I have been in a real funk and he told me, "Mommy I love you more than a cinnamon roll!"
If you know Lex and know how much he loves sweets......well, lets just say he loves me an AWEFUL LOT!

It's Babes birthday!

What are friends for?
For those of you who do not know Brent is a taxidermist and we recently expanded our business to include game processing.
Well, with hunting season in full swing we have been elbow deep in MEAT.
Recently we were doing a 400 lb sausage order and, well, lets just say if you stop by the shop and visit for tooooo long we MAAAAYYY just put you to work!
Last Saturday Mr. Jarrod, Cole and Guage came by the shop to say "HI"! Brent is stuffing sausage, Jace and I are helping. Well, the next thing you know Mr. Jarrod is right in the mix helping! I think he ended up staying until around 5:00ish. I think he was glad to leave and sorry he even stopped by :) but we sure appreciate you Mr. Jarrod!
Then on Sunday Mr. Brent stops by with Ms. Melissa to grab a cooler.....just to pick up a cooler and go. Well, Mr. Brent wanted to show Ms. Melissa our vac sealer. Brent says sure and hands him a link of sausage to seal. Well, Ms. Melissa must have thought it was pretty cool and she wanted to try. Brent says before he knew it almost all the sausage was vac sealed and he even thinks Mr. Brent jumped in and started stuffing bags! HE HE!

Back in the saddle
Well, as you can see from my last post it has been AWHILE since I blogged but I think it "time" to start again. It might be good therapy too! :)
Anyway, I just finished a class and we had to keep a journal and submit it along with an analysis of our journal. So I journaled for 4 weeks about food, exercise and sleep! DON'T worry, I won't be journaling about that here but what I learned was that journaling is great for keeping track and reflecting. Keeping track and reflecting......on WHATEVER you desire. It helps you see where you have been and where you are headed. It helps you see a bigger picture because really our minds can be soooo forgetful, forgetful of where we came from and most importantly where we are headed!
I am actually really excited! And the new title, THe Myers 5 - LIVE, well that is exactly what its gonna be....right here, right now and keepin it real!
